CCK Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use my new CCK music downloads?

Your files include full scores, parts where applicable, and audio files. After you download your files, you can use the provided music (PDFs) to play along with your desired track. Tracks are labeled with the included instruments, minus the line you will be playing. For example, if you want to play the alto line in a SQATB piece, simply open the track that says “SQTB,” i.e., the track minus the “A,” or “alto” part. If you want to hear what it sounds like with the whole band playing, choose “FULL.”

Where is my download link?

You will have received two emails: a confirmation of your order and a second email with download links. Check your spam folder just in case! Some sensitive filters will send our emails there instead of to your inbox.

How long do I have to download my files?

Your files will be available through your download link email within 24 hours for first access.

I’m missing some files. Where are they?

Some computer systems store files in different places, and those places aren’t always so obvious! Make sure you’ve looked in your DOWNLOADS folder first. If they aren’t there, do a search for “TCM” on your computer. This will often reveal the location of the files. If you still can’t find them, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll help you figure it out!

Once downloaded, how do I open my files?

Your files are stored in a ZIP folder, which is a compressed folder containing audio tracks, scores, and parts (when applicable). Some computers open these files automatically, and some don’t. You may have to unzip the folder, usually simply by double-clicking it or right-clicking it to open.

I keep being redirected to the download page. What’s going on?

Your email contains a working link that will automatically direct you to your unique download page every time you click it. This will remain active for 24 hours. Once you click each download link, your files will be downloaded to your computer and you will remain on the same page until you close the window. Sometimes your computer will have already finished downloading before you know it! If so, search for your download as described above. Once in a while, a page will refresh or redirect because a download has timed out. This usually happens with slow internet connections. If this is the case, see below.

My downloads aren’t working.

The usual reason for this issue is a slow internet connection. The high quality of your files means that your download might simply be very slow. If so, be patient! It may just be taking a while. However, if the downloads simply aren’t working, we are here to help. Please contact us and we will help you receive your music!
